ASSISTANT HERDSPERSON - DORSET

                  We are part of the management team for a successful family-run dairy business in North Dorset operating over two farms with 700 cows.

                  We have recently acquired our 300 cow dairy unit near Stalbridge, Dorset and are now looking for the right individual to join the team as an Assistant Herdsperson.

                  You will become a key member of the team working alongside and reporting to the Herd Manager and have the opportunity to be involved with the management team’s decision making.

                  Your focus is on animal health and welfare, fertility, somatic cell count management and efficient milk production.

                  You must be an open-minded, driven individual, with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and an ability to work within the whole dairy team.
