ASSISTANT HERDSPERSON - DORSET

                  We are part of the management team for a successful family-run dairy business in North Dorset operating over two farms with 700 cows.

                  We have an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join the team as an Assistant Herdsperson on the 400 cow organic dairy unit near Sherborne, Dorset.

                  The right person will be an integral part of the experienced management team.

                  Your focus is on animal health and welfare, fertility, somatic cell count management and efficient milk production.

                  You will report to the Herd Manager and have the opportunity to be involved with the management team’s decision making.

                  You must be an open-minded, driven individual, with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail and an ability to work within the whole dairy team.  

                  We will encourage you to further your experience through training and development.

                  You will be remunerated with a competitive salary.
